Puzzle pieces

shoutout to stephen welton for praying for me everyday! youre awesome, keep the faith and enjoy life!!!
thanks to my brother & familiy for my brithday packages! they came (after being hoarded in the offices). youre AMAZING and one of my lifes greatest blessings! <3

randoms,
heard that minions talk in four languages at once, and thats why its hard to understand them. makes sense (hah)
i feel like singing let it go every time i take out my ponytail because it feels so great but then i remember how much i hate that song
speaking of hair, ive officially lost 2/3 of my hair and i may just come home bald
heres not really gutters here,  (the sewers are open ditches about two feet lower than the sidewalk/street), so when it rains, (and its POURED this week) thers brown rivers flowing in the streets.

funny moments
"wilson! i forgot my rocks but let down your hair!" hna brady
i sat on a rock to take my ibuprofin and a dog came up to me, lifted his leg, and peed all over me.
"ya... ¿quiere?" yo
"¡las gringas entran por gratis!" men at club
"who the heck is having a party at 4 in the afternoon on a weekday?!" hna brady "BOLIVIA" yo y lopardo
hna brady and i "left the nest", we were free, and.... went the wrong way
there were almost more signatures in spanish than english on my birthday sign from my family (shoutout to you ALL, i LOVE YOU!!!)

blessings
NDH with the familia garcia. theyre amazing people. :) the mom cant go to church bc one of her sons, marcelo, has a disabling diesease where he has seizures and cant talk, etc. super sad story but were helping her with her testimony. her other sons are sergio (mission leader) and oscar (JAS pres). super awesome family, and a night ill never forget.
hna brady bought chickens last pday, 2 for 2 BS, and we named them coco and loco and we brought them in her agullo. yay for spontaneous acts of fun. :)
e ziering has tyfoid but todavía hes teaching our district and working. example of dilligence and strenght.
hna gonzalez gave me her amor in the district/zone meeting. super grateful shes there with me. she also gave me a back massage, and anyone who does that, is automatically included in my prayers.
hna pary plays the violin. it gave me peace listening to. its my favorite instrument.
e farnsworth (one of my LZ) is just amazing. super amazing leader, super amazing testimony, and plays the piano like a professional. hes super humble. we need more leaders like him.
the words of my family and friends were definitely guided by the spirit in their emails, thank you for your testimonies and your support. <3
the spirit when we visited papito. we sang himno 195 and shared mormon 7:7, super awesome lesson and he is such an amazing, amazing man. were going to pension with him so hes not so lonely, and hes going to bless my life even more i already know it.
seeing hna brady and hna lopardo hugging and making up in the nightime... so happy that love returned between them.
at one point in the restauracion lesson, hna lopardo was teaching about heavenly father and i was looking at her face, and ill never forget it. it was like a child. she had a light in her eyes, and she was so humble, and had so much love in her face.. i know she has a testimony and i know that hna irma (who we were teaching) felt the truth and im so grateful for that tiny moment
hna lopardo taught me how to make the shower warm, and im now showering with hot water, after three weeks, thankful for her intelligence.
we had a special family lunch with papito and his family and the bishop. it was about 20 people and felt like a thanksgiving dinner andthe bishop loostened up a little, and a wonderful moment
at the same time of having RAGE for missionaries who baptize people without testimonies, it taught me the importance of truly teaching and helping people discover the truth for themselves. its so incredibly important. were talking about ALMAS.
e ziering called to check up on my health. ive been blessed with awesome leaders lately.
no tention in nightly planning thursday night. YES. improvement!!
saw e rincon, h silvano, y hna cruz at tramites. super happy! and super good convo with hna cruz. she gave me good advice and more animo and consuelo for the work im doing. shes truly going to be a lifelong friend.
getting more courage all the time to address problems and bad feelings i have, and truly working on communication. its SO important.
the true joy hna brady had after teaching a lesson. this work is such a blessing.
hna andrea came with us to a NDH with the familia medrano, MA of 20 years, and had answers to their crazy questions and has such an amazing way of teaching.
my EP.. studied and learned a ton. i love how in the first talk of the Gen Conf liahona, it says that heavenly father is our father- that means not only we need him, but he needs US. prayer is so important. and when we understand our divine nature as HIs children, we will want to help and teach others- life is just one big bbble of learning and missionary work. :)
everytime i see the bright yellow birds, i feel Heavenly Fathers love. ive noticed im the only one who ever notices them. i keep quiet, and just give a little prayer of thanks to Him and giving me the reminder im never alone.
little service to my compañeras. making beds, making mate, (oh, the mate...) making breakfast, polishing shoes that look white from dirt but really are black, etc,, makes me happy, makes them happy, makes Him happy.
we got blessings from the bishop yesterday, and in all three blessings it was mentioned to look for FAMILIES.... another goal weve put, and i know well be able to have success. super excited!
hno oscar asked me how hna fidelia was doing, etc. i LOVE when people care about who were teaching and working with, and want to help. theyre so important to me, theyre why im here, and it just makes my heart smile. :)
yesterday it poured but hna brady and i left to work anyways. i followed my prompting to not knock the door of our new investigator. no idea why, but i felt we shouldnt. hna brady trusted me. shes buena, but maybe her husband was drinking, and something bad would happen. it was like the saratov approach but we listened and now, were not dead and held for ransom. yay for promptings of the spirit! :) it led us to find juan and alicia, a new couple we found. we taught them john 10:17-18, one of my FAVORITES, bc they didnt have too much time. but testifying of the savior, and how he GAVE His life for us, brought such an incredible and special spirit. i saw a change in them and i hope we can continue teaching them. (scary at first, we entered the room of juan and he said take a seat with a smile, he shut the door, and were like uhh... is your wife going to join us? we want to teach your FAMILY, not just you... and he went and got her. yay for protection! nothing happened but definitely scared us a little haha.) anyways. ive put the goal to testify of the Savior in every lesson, and doi it with all my heart, and its made a true difference. the spirit is so much more powerful and im "conocer"ing Him personally more and more. :) if youre a missionary, make sure youre doing that!!

highlights
since hna lopardo has stayed home a couple of days, hna brady and i have had some time together and awesome conversations. one... consejo hna brady shared with me from her friend aaron.. if somethings bothering you about a person, but it isnt something that is going to help them develop their christlike attributes, you dont have the right to try and fix it. its a part of them, and YOU are in the wrong for being irritated. super true. none of us are perfect but we all have the same goal, to be better and come closer to Him, the perfect example for all.
&two.. talking about faith. its like a child holding his parents hand. sometimes you let them go so they can learn to walk. theyll fall, but you pick their hand uop again and help them take a few more steps. the hand were holding and the hand thats always there to pick us back up is the Savior and our Father in Heaven. we wont be given all the answers in life but were promised their help. we just need the faith to keep trying, keep walking, keep falling, and keep getting back up.

this church is true, si o SI. im so grateful i have this knowledge. its not a prideful thing, but a humbling thing... theres so many people without this knowledge, and without the blessings that come from it. but im so grateful to have the Gospel in my life. theres no doubt in my mind that its not true. everything i learn, and i learn everyday, just adds to that knowledge.

FIDELIA. isnt it amazing how the Lord truly knows EVERYTHING, and how EVERYTHING happens for a reason?! in my first area i was teaching the family maraza, reference of MA marianelly. i left, hna gonzález and her new comp couldnt find them, and i was left heartbroken. this week, guess who we found?! FIDELIA. she lives in tiquipaya!!! and when she offered a prayer, she thanked the Lord so humbly and sincerely for guiding the missionaries back to her. for answering her prayer, and for listening, and loving her, and giving her the blessing of having His word in her life once more... so amazing. i knew in that moment that she is a main reason of why im here. we taught her the restauration and the LDM and she accepted the invitation to be baptized when she gets her answer to know its true. not a fecha yet, she needs to be married, but well deal with that.. i truly feel like this is her time to be converted to the Lord. her heart is super humble and she came to a NDH with the bishop and the church (Eduardo, her little brother, came too!!!! he still lives in sausilito but he came!) sunday. in the sacrament meeting/during the santa cena i prayed that she would feel the truth, that she would get her answer... and the SPirit just hit me so hard, that ive truly been led to her, to help her in this time. also the truth of the Expiacion of the Savior hit me hard, and it brought tears to my eyes. im so grateful for the blessing we have to take the sacrament every sunday and renew our covenants and remember our Savior. its just a couple of minutes but its a couple of minutes to change our hearts and mindset for the week.

tender blessing from President Hansen, ill share what he wrote to me this week..
"Thanks for your thoughtful letter, Hna. Wilson. I like deep thinkers, and you are one.
The fact that you are striving to recognize and follow promptings means you are definitely on the right track. I have no doubt Father in Heaven is very pleased with you and with what you have experienced and how you have served in your mission so far."
I have definitely gone through some changes in the mission. something that hasnt changed too much is my confidence, its actually felt pretty low lately... but im grateful for the boosts i get and im grateful that Presidente has faith in me and has seen the changes in me as well. It will always be a little fear to fail, to not do everything i was sent here to do, but i can only do my best. the best moments of my day are when i can recognize the puzzle pieces fitting together, and feel His approval of my service.

I know with all of my heart that He lives. That He puts my lifes puzzle pieces together, one by one. sometimes its as if He puts random pieces down without touching the edges to other pieces. but poco a poco the pieces touch, connect, and start to create a picture. theres so many still missing and i still dont know the final picture for most of my life or the mission He has for me but i KNOW that He knows and I trust Him to help me get there. I love Him. I love the Savior, I love the Father. and I love helping others feel of that love as well, and come to the truth so they can finish their own life puzzles.

may the odds be ever in your favor with your own puzzle pieces..

double headed dragon

randoms!
i found the bolivian version of austin james! thought it was him at first.
rollie pollies here have pinches.
the catholic church plays music in the morning SUPER loud and it reminds me of a zombie apacolypse (?!) with them walking all tired to the sermons
we were three days in casa for votaciones and had to buy 4 days of emergency food. things got a little crazy. 6 people died in la paz, so we were told to stay indoors and not wear the colors (green for yes red for no). if evo wins, people think hes going to be a king because hes going to change his time of rule. interesting to see what the results are!

funny moments
"ella es buena. es flecha. pero.. flecha de goma"
"all of your investigators are baptized" elder ziering at consejo
i realized when hna lopardo was cutting fabric for service, she opens and closes her mouth at the same time as the sissors. :)
"have you ever been to a funeral before?" israel
"i want to visit every continent" hna brady "no, you want..." yo
"wow, youre really sweaty." "no, im really FREAKING healthy!"
"algo mas hermana?" israel,

bendiciones
people remembered my birthday and ran to me in luigis attacking me with hugs
sharing favorite scriptures with the garcia family
we prayed for which goals to put for baptisms and rescues this cambio and hna lopardo and i got the exact same numbers. prayer works folks.
realizing i need to put more trust in God and involve him in the decisions and goals i make
hna gualberto kneeled for the prayer (inactive 20 years, we found him) even though more than half of his leg is cut out because he had a head on flota crash. super humbling
we finally had a good sit down lesson with hna migelina (ma CR) about profets and we taught evenly between the three and powerfully
hna selena went on splits with me and she testifies with lots of power and the Spirit
after a LONG consejo, we speed walk raced and were all dying laughing. such a small thing but still so important to enjoy the work and find fun after a long day. the elderse were jealous we can find fun from nothing, hopefully theyll get more unity too soon
found time to write a note to each of my companions finally. time doesnt exist in the mission and its even harder to find time to serve TWO people instead of one! and almost impossible for surprises!
my companions like to cuddle. :) i win.
hna brady went in divisiones with a member. super proud of her. she was nervous about her spanish and ability to teach but i know she can do it shes amazing and teaches with the spirit every time. :) also super proud she talks with me in spanish.
we found a argentina restaurant and hna lopardo was SUPER happy
there wasnt water in the river we cross every time to visit the familiy crespo, and it was dark, double blessings! no falling into a dark cold river haha. :)
singing "hasta ver" at the funeral of mamita. when i hugged and saluded the family members, the fell into my arms in tears thanking me for the sweet spirit we had. (it was pretty much just hna brady and i singing, everyone else was too sad). they testified that their mom was thankful for our service and that its what she would have wanted, how she loves the hymns.
papito had a smile on his face at the funeral, and he greeted everyone with so much love, and although it was the liove of his life dying, he was consoling OTHERS. what an example of christ. he reminds me of my grandpa.
we passed through La Floresta, and man i got tears fast in my eyes. such wonderful people there.
talking with hna brady in the bus. she had me laughing so hard! im positive we were friends in the pre life. she also reminds me a lot of traci , so that of course makes me happy as well. :)
yesterday i was puking up pure stomach acid along with other fun bodily functions, and it felt like my stomach was getting ripped open, but hna brady helped me feel better. she served me and talked with me. hna lopardo got me to laugh like she always does. im so incredibly blessed to be in this trio. they each add a special part that would be missing if i only had one. service is such a huge blessing!
president said i am the gel in this trio to keep unity and love. super glad he has such trust in me, and the Father as well, and hope i can do just that.

highlight of my week was truly experiencing the Atonement. i know with all of my heart that the Sacrifice of the Son is true and eternal. I know that we truly can receive peace if we repent and that God the Father remembers them no more. God is so merciful and has given me so many blessings this week, whether or not i deserved them. His love is pure and its incredible how He can love every single one of His children yet i know He does. <3

may you feel His love this week and share it with others,
hna wilson <3

Tiquipaya, la tierra prometida

what a week! i probably say that most weeks but man. whata week.

so letme tell you that tiquipaya in some parts takes my breath away its so beautiful and so green and i LOVE it. its campo, its green, it smells awesome, its humble, im in heaven. my area is super narrow but super long. we live in a HUGE house, it has a kitchen and two seperate rooms and a changing room and a bathroom all with separate doors, que en el mundo. were spoiled for sure. above and below where we live is campo. our area is pretty much flat, so im going to die when i get sent to potosi, but life is good!

compañeraS..
hna brady is from houston texas. her strength is having tons of energy and being really dilligent. shes great and when shes tired laughs a ton. :) haha. hna lopardo is from argentina (sur), and her strength is being observant and little acts of service. shes also great at cooking. shes great.theyre both great. being in a trio is a way different experience, but im learning a ton and i know ill only continue to learn and grow. im grateful for them:)

random things
therewas a lady selling cow in the street, the literal leg (hoof included) and mouth (fur and teeth included). they dont like wasting parts of the cow here thats for sure.
our neighbor butchered a cow the other day with an ax. i about died watching it.
most people here work from before the sun comes up until after it goes down.
i saw cows witha literal yoke on their backs. super cool. mateo 11 28.
the ojnly thing better than a fireman is a lumberjack and theres lumber yards here
so i mentioned the sun was so hot the roses were burniong, right? well.. this week it literally (LITERALLY) burned my cheek, i had a burn spot. super weird but its healed now no te preocuppes mama

funny moments
"ya, soy un poco mas pobre no?" hna lopardo with her alarm clock taped to her forehead like the headlight hna brady had haahha
"heres your nose..." yo, teaching how to baptize "dont teach her that! thats her HAND" e menendez
our "carpeta de hombres" for after the mission
"¿te gusta el pato?"
"i wasnt trunky until YOU were my comp!" hna brady, when i got a birthday package from elder miller (shoutout, THANK YOU!!!! youre great)
"cuidado!" hna brady, when we both stuck our tongues out for a foto and she almost licked my tongue :p

blessings
throwing water over our balcony at the people passing with hna lopardo for carnavales. :) (dont worry we had permission to play). so fun, and a way good way to get to know someone haha. shes increidbly fast at tying water balloons.
we have trioismo braclets!
consejo de barrio is superrrrr organized, and the bishop is on top of things. i like how he verifies assignments at the beginning of each consejo.
we found candles ina  tienda when our lights were out and i learned how to melt wax and make the candles stay in place
the members know me because i went to the ward carnaval activity. no better way of bonding than soaking each other to the bone haha.
we got permisiion to go to Frutillar so i could teach the area to the elders there, e menendez and sueldo. i definitely have faith in them to take care of frutillar, theyre awesome. e menendez only has 6 months but this is his second hijo and e sueldo might not know spanish too well but hes willing to help and work! he rolled up his sleeves (just kidding, all the elders wear the short sleeve dress shirts bc its so hot here) and helped me wash virginia´s clothes even though he had no idea how haha. theyre a good companionship and teach with the spirit.
i love my new zone tiquipaya! the zone leaders are awesome, we had such a good lesson and i learned so much and the spirit was so strong and everyone was participating. reminded me of alamos, although obbiously different.
the zone leaders had us find our favorite scriptures for each principle in L3 and bring them to the meeting. it was an awesome expereience finding and choosing them, and i think im going to do that with all 5 lessons. super helpful and powerful
estudio companerismo, but in trioismo! i get to hear the studies of TWO comps, and the spirit therefore is twice as storng and i learn twice as much! theyre awesome
hna lopardo reads her mission manual and PME in english in estudio trioismo, super proud of her for trying and its always such a humbling experience.
i woke up on my birthday to the smell of pancakes..... i thought i was in heaven :)
hna cruz, cicotte, ipanaqué, silvano, rupp, jhaneth morales, gonzález, pary, e pulido, rincon all remmebered my birthday and called me to tell me. :)
in the afternoon of my birthday we did divisions with andrea, shes AWESOME and my favorite. she taught us how to contact better and is so natural when she teaches. shes super down to earth and a great example to me. her husband henry reminds me a lot of jon limary (shoutout, hope youre doing well!)
one night we were talking about patriarchal blessings over dinner (we eat meals together, thats something new). it was an awesome conversation and the spirit was way strong. im SO grateful for my blessing and ill forever remember the day i got it. if you dont have one.... get one. this week!!
we got permission to go to the hospital and talk to mamita. we sang songs. it was a special service. papita asked hna lopardo what she did to make me love her so much (separate, hna brady and i were contacting this man) and she laughed and said nothing, thats just how i am. we had only been together about 3 days, but i was rubbing her shoulder and squeezing her hand, etc as she cried and i sang. it surprised me that anyone noticed. but then again.. thats just who papito is. hes amazing.
theres a man, richard flores, in the ward. i can describe it but he has such a special spirit about him. i feel like he sees right to the soul. but he has a tender smile, and he gave us rides TWO times that day- one to church after unsuccessfully looking for our investigators, and a ride home from the hospital.
we have a principios de evangelio teacher! (in frutillar hna bisama and i were the teachers. i kind of miss studying and teaching, bc you always learn more as a teacher, but its a blessing because there isnt too much time to prepare for lessons)
i had the courage to talk to my companions about something that hurt me /gave me ganas para llorar, and they listened and we put goals to work and be better as a trioismo. i love them. it wasnt easy but im glad they listened and understood.

i didnt know what to expect with a trio, but i love it! both of my companions are amazing. they have so many strengths. we laugh every day and our testimonies are doubling every day. God loves me, and sent me TWO angels to help me be better. :) im happy here and ready to have exito!

have a great week! laugh everyday!!!
